BUILDING THE FUTURE ... BUILDING THE NATION
World Teachers' Day, held annually on October 5th since 1994, commemorates teachers’ organizations worldwide. Its aim is to mobilize support for teachers and to ensure that the needs of future generations will continue to be met by teachers.
This year, World Teacher Teachers’ Day will focus on the role of teachers within the context of the global financial and economic crisis and the need to invest in teachers now as means to secure post-crisis regeneration.
"Teaching MINDS, Touching HEARTS, and Tranforming LIVES..."
